OBJECT MOVEMENT PUPPETRY FESTIVAL is a curated festival and developmental residency for puppeteers and object theater artists, produced by the Center at West Park. Object Movement supports the development new work and advances existing works-in-progress that address eternal human questions and the urgent challenges of our society today through puppetry and object theater, culminating in a festival of 15-20 minute performances. Participants meet weekly as a group to share the progress of their pieces and offer peer feedback.

Justin Perkins, Maiko Kikuchi and Rowan Magee are the curators and facilitators of the program.

The program began in 2018 and is now in its third season.

2018: Andrea Ang, Kate Brehm, Sam Jay Gold, Dorothy James & Andy Manjuck, , Amy Jensen, Little Did Productions, Leah Ogawa, and Shayna Strype.
2019: Maria Camia, Tyler Gunther, Ayun Halliday, Jenny Hann, Monica Lerch, Vinny Mraz & Chris Carcione, Sarah Scholl, and KK Tobin.
2020: Aubrey Clinedinst, Christine Dempsey, Leila Ghaznavi, Harrison Greene & Stephen Kaplin, Broderick Jones, LIM & Marte Ekhougen, Kyra Miller, and Ed Valentine.
